Hello, there, Summer....

Is it hot where you are?  Summer came before we had a real spring...and I'm not fond of Texas summers.  It's mid 90s from here on out, until the July-August 100s pretty much send us over the edge.  The only thing that makes it so much better is that my summers are filled with all kinds of fun things, and it's a break from teacher life to gear up for the next set of kiddos that come in the fall.  Oh, yeah, and we have a community pool now.  We can jump in there like the cows in the neighborhood wade in the pond to cool their tired cow hooves.  Haha!

The move has gone well, although we are still not finished getting the little stuff out of the old house and bringing it here to sort through.  I finally gave up my undying love for everything we were hanging on to with no purpose, and pitched it in a box to either go to Good Will or to be put in a garage sale.  There is no sense in keeping all of that because I might need it later.  Later has never come for most of it.  And it made for a very tiring and mentally exhausting move.  We added 1000 sf and we have pretty much filled it up.  There is no clutter anymore, and the walk ways are much wider.  Rooms are larger, and everything has a place or it's outta here.  It's so nice to be in a larger place after packing us in to a small (although great) little house for six years.  We've been wanting to do this for quite some time, and finally, it all fell into place just like it should have.  That was God looking out for us and He made sure all the details came together.  So wonderful.

Have a great, warm day, little friends...I'm working on not abandoning this place for much longer.  I'm searching for my hole punch and adhesive for now.  :)
