DIY Doll House Stand/Storage

For the Create Something Project this week I recycled a TV stand that was about to be tossed out into storage and a stand for Kate's vintage doll house. (I've seen this idea on a blog somewhere and I can't find it). She has about a million Polly Pockets and Littlest Pet Shop and In My Pocket animals that were by no means in any kind of order. Yay for organization! The stand was black and I painted it an olive green with spray enamel.

All of the dolls, animals, parts, and furniture are sorted and in bins that fit on the shelves. (wonder how long that will last?). The white ones were on clearance at Target for $1.50. Then I cut up a vintage sheet and made a little curtain for the front. Katie pushed the pedal on the sewing machine. :) I love how it turned out!!

Now we don't have such an eye sore in her room. Yay!
