Oh, She's 5!

This little shadow of mine, my mini-me, my twin, angel, pinks, punky....adorable daughter...is 5!  Just look at her...in the words of her Mimi, she's been celebrating all month long, but that's ok.  

Look how much fun she had. 

 

And it was worth it to see the smiles on all these faces, to have her Mimi, Uncle Rick and Brady drive down three hours and drive back the next morning...to have family and friends over for a party that was planned just that day...for rainbow cupcakes and homemade buttercream frosting...for a Barbie bicycle and little friends that hopped off theirs long enough to come in for ice cream...for momma waking her up to tell birthday stories of the day she arrived...for a newscast shout out...for silly faces in the car and for dinner at Chili's topped off with a chocolate shake...and for all the love a girl could ever want.  Happy Birthday, Kate! We love you ever so much!
