I haven't had a Thrifty Tuesday feature in quite a few trips to estate sales and thrift shops! Here is one of my most favorite purchases in the last few months, and also one of Katie's. We found this vintage record player last summer, I believe, and we had picked up a few record/books at a few sales and also at Half Price Books in town. But, I came across this whole box of them at an estate a few months ago. There are about 25 records in there with the books, all in great condition for their age (1949-1970s). What a great find!
There was an index they had
written each one in too.
And the little girls had written
their names in the books.

I had one of those when I was little! My player was blue with a blue checked lid. I had tons of little records and books - its how I learned to read!
