My sweet friend, Peggy, invited Katie to be a part of her church's children's program this year, David and the Giants. We met at the church every Wednesday night for choir practice, and that gave the mommas time to visit too. I miss those Wednesday nights! The performance was on a Sunday morning...cutest little show...and Katie did great! I was super worried about stage fright, but once she saw her brothers and Mimi in the audience she grinned really big and did her thing. Love! She made lots of new friends, and so did I. Uh oh...book in her face. But, they knocked that giant right out...along with hunger, war, hatred, and others. How many giants have you seen lately?
She's signed up for more giant taming this summer...Bible school at our church, Peggy's church, and B'ma's church. She's well-rounded.
