A Nest924 Giveaway at Postal Society and Coming Soon!

I found Postal Society a few months ago from the lovely blog, Saturday Morning Vintage. (I adore all of the vintage papers she finds...they are so different from what I find here!)  What a fun group of ladies that LOVE to get mail!  I have found some new pen pals (if you are one of them and waiting on a letter, I promise it is coming soon!) and am really enjoying their chat board and their ideas.

I'm excited to share some of my collection with one lucky winner, so hop on over and  enter to win!   Over 25 pieces of goodies including bank checks and prescription slips from the 1920s, a 1950s Dude Ranch Menu, and many more!

On a side note, I started PROJECT LIFE last night and I am soooo proud of myself for doing so.  I was scared of it (no, really, I was) but it's so easy and so much fun to put together.  I'll share soon.  Also, I have some party invitations of the 1949 kind that Katie and I made to share.  That party series got put on the back burner for a bit, but it's coming up!

    1. I just got started. Megan, at The Nerd Nest, recommended that I start out using what I have to keep from getting overwhelmed. So, I did that, but did purchase a few more page protectors. I have a bunch of journaling cards from Cosmo Cricket, Studio Calico, and October Afternoon, and I plan to incorporate vintage papers as well. Let me know how it works for you...I'm posting mine soon!

  5. I'm also hopping over from the giveaway over at P.S.... thank you! :)
Project life seems so awesome, but I'd never be able to keep up with it. Also, I don't take many photos, so I'd first of all have to work on getting that done.
I hope you are doing good!

    1. It will be fun! I am using some photos from my phone as well as from my camera. Maybe you could start with that? :) Thanks for stopping by!

    2. Thanks for the reply! (I always think better of a person if they try to reply to blog comments :)). I do have a small digital camera, so maybe I should just take it with me more often. I think I will actually try to take more photos this summer :)
My phone has quite a crappy camera (I don't use a smartphone :)), so that's not really an option - if I'd have a smartphone though that would of course be a good start!
